About John Codd Hurleys

John Codd started making hurleys in 2003.
An accomplished player, having won a collages all Ireland with Good Consel Collage, New Ross, captained Wexford in a minor all Ireland final and played with his club Rathnure St. Anne's in two club All Ireland finals.

We are located in Rathnure County Wexford an area steeped in hurling tradition.
Nestled in the heart of the Blackstairs mountains on the Wexford / Kilkenny border where hurling is not just a game, it is a way of life. The area is famous for its hurling and Camogie hero's including the Rackards, the Quigelys and Johns own family the Codds who have represented club and county in both hurling and Camogie for generations.
His father Martin and latterly his nephew Paul have won all Ireland senior medals for Wexford. His sister Jackie played Camogie at the highest level winning many honors.
